During this “Year of the Child” many important bills and memorials have been introduced that are critical to the health and well-being of New Mexico’s children. However, if we are going to stop the cycle of poverty, obesity and systemic educational failure that is plaguing our state’s children, there is one memorial that simply must past this session.
Please stop whatever you are doing, and pick up the phone and call your legislator. Tell them that before this session ends, they must pass SJM45. The future of our children depends on it.
